
Allison Kocar (Ali Baba Kat) is a New York City based freelance digital artist for commercials and film. She specializes in Live-action Compositing, Color Grading, CGI Compositing, Motion Graphics Animation, Greenscreen Keying, Tracking/Stabilization, Effects-Animation, Re-touching/Rig-removal, and Roto.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Allison moved to New York & attended the School of Visual Arts (SVA), where she graduated with honors and earned a BFA in Computer Arts. She began her career as a staff compositor at Rhinofx and also taught compositing and motion graphics at SVA. For most of her career she has worked as a freelancer, building a dynamic and versatile career in the field. Most recently she was awarded a spot in an intensive Color Grading Fellowship at Fierstein School of Cinema.
Outside of the digital realm, Allison enjoys costume and mask design, drawing, painting, photography and movement arts.
Her clients include A&E Network, Hornet, Nola Pictures, Charlx, Rhinofx, Superfad, Transistor, Humble, Brand New School, 321Launch, Stardust.
